Unclear role definitions
Vague job descriptions confuse recruiters and candidates—and can create a mismatch between responsibilities and pay.
Hiring warehouse, delivery and operations teams at speed shouldn’t mean compromising on quality. Find where your process is losing candidates—and build a system that fills roles faster.
When hiring stalls, the issue often isn’t the number of applicants. It’s the way the hiring process is designed and managed.
Vague job descriptions confuse recruiters and candidates—and can create a mismatch between responsibilities and pay.
HR and operations assess different things, creating wasted interviews, delayed feedback and repeated searches.
Repeating the same job post may increase applications without reaching the right local talent pool.
Good candidates move on when shifts, pay, start dates and decisions aren’t communicated quickly.
Without follow-up after offer acceptance, candidates can drop off before their first day at work.
Clarify requirements, diversify sourcing, shorten decisions and take ownership from offer to day one.
Build a repeatable hiring process that aligns your team, helps candidates make informed decisions and measures success beyond the offer letter.

Create a one-page role card before sourcing begins. Include:
Combine local catchment sourcing, employee referrals, walk-in drives, training institutes, WhatsApp and vernacular outreach, and trusted recruitment partners. Track which channels produce people who join and stay.
Look beyond keywords. Check commute feasibility, shift readiness, hands-on experience, job stability and document readiness. AI-assisted pre-qualification can help recruiters focus on meaningful conversations.
Use one or two stages where practical. Set same-day or next-day feedback targets, remove steps that don’t change the decision and agree who has the final say.
Assign every accepted candidate a named contact. Confirm role, pay and joining details within three days; share location, reporting time and document requirements; and keep in touch until day one.
Track time-to-first-day, offer-to-joining ratio, 30- and 90-day retention, cost per successful joining and source quality. Build a pre-screened pipeline ahead of seasonal peaks and new launches.
Choose a model that fits your hiring volume, local reach and operational timelines.
Best when hiring is consistent, low-volume and supported by a reliable local network.
Best for seasonal spikes, new locations or an HR team that needs extra capacity.
Best when dozens of hires are needed quickly or repeated drop-offs are slowing operations.
Check the questions your team can confidently answer. Your score updates as you go. If you cannot answer three or more, start by improving visibility into your process.
